The Minton manufacture was founded in 1796 by Thomas Minton in Stoke-on-Trend (Staffordshire). It has successively produced decorated majolica and porcelain. Minton has traditionally copied Sèvres French porcelain factory's pattern. The mark reminds the most famous pottery manufacturer in England.
