The Longwy manufacture was founded in 1801 by the Boch family. It was particularly famous for its blue enamels. After the first worldwide war, the business was about to collapse. Majolica pieces made in the 1920's such as Copenhagen pattern are especially appreciated by Decorative Arts' lovers.
